Leptobrachium smithi
Behaviour:
The calls recorded at Khao Chong on 17 January 1997, at air temperatures of 23.0-24.4oC, consisted of one to seven (usually one) notes and lasted up to 2087 msec (Fig 6.). A note was composed of many unclear pulses and lasted from 109-230 msec. In a call with two or more notes, each note was emitted successively, with the note gap ranging from 279-477 msec and the note repition rate 2.87-3.92 pwer sec. The dominant frequency wa sin the 750-1600 hz range, and was more exactly about 950 and 1500 hz. There were weak harmonics at about 3000-4200 and 5800-7200 hz ranges. Slight frequency modulation and strong intensity modulation were present. [1]
